Thanks guys. I'll just pull the customer's GCU apart and read the Caps. Just thought someone remembered so I can go buy some and have some on hand to repair Faulty GCUs. I'm the repair guy who will fix the GCU's and Headlight Combo switches. I have a Hi Reliability Soldering station. Thanks any hoo..

Re: Another source for wet floors + a dumb moment!

On the subject of leaks, I also found the windshield washer jets leak at the base where it meets the seal that goes on the body. A bead of black silicone sealant works well. Also, the gutter on the driver side where it meets the winshield. I found a seam there where the original seam sealer was crac...

Re: my feet are dry! found the leak

I have done leak repair on about 4 vehicles so far. In most cases its the seal above the driver side headlight under the corner fairing. This is a well know leak location. See the link here and look for "Foot Well Leaks" on the front page.... http://www.comoxvalleydelica.com/cgi-bin/show_h...

Re: L400 LHD Headlights

Ya I saw those on the DEPO website as well. Nice they have them listed but it says TBA. If there are some in Germany, they will probably be the Mitsubishi ones. I'll try to get the part number for it. Maybe there is another company making these replacements as well? Any one know?

Re: L400 LHD Headlights

I would be definitely be interested. Can you get him to check if they are LHD Beam pattern and "E" code in the glass?
This has been the whole hold up for me getting the L400.

Cheers,

Re: Air->water-> Air intercooling, testing waters!

Well, has anyone thought of using the Delica's AC and divert it to cool your intercooler? Bigger bang with all that cooool air. Just imaging refrigerated air in your inter-cooler... I have other projects like Propane injection to work on... Even Bigger bang in the Diesel engine...
