Squealing on acceleration
My Deli has recently started to squeal when I accelerate hard. If I slowly get up to speed it doesn't happen. Is it most likely one of the belts?

Re: Electrical problems
...And yet again, you guys saved my skin. I was thinking there was something serious wrong with the electrical. The coffee stir stick fix? Who would've thought.. Another thing that happens when the horn fuse is pulled: I got home and turned off the ignition, and the motor wouldn't stop.. Ok,...

Electrical problems
I think the cold weather and ice did not so good things to my Deli. I parked her at a park&ride near Langford this morning at 530AM. I got picked up and drove to Comox to work and i get a phone call. "Chris, the cops just called and they say your alarm is going off in your van" . (I do...

Re: Wetfoot Syndrome - Repaired
Funny.. I'm currently trying to repair my leak as well. Every screw has been a nightmare to remove. I've had to drill them all and use a screw extractor on every one so far. I thought I was at the end, but there is one left. The one under the window rubber is being a cow as well.. I soaked it in WD4...

Re: Stripped screws on headlight assembly
The screw extractor works like a charm. I stuck it onto an extension and then onto a screwdriver handle. It came out like nothing. Tomorrow I will remove it all and seal up the leaks behind the panel and put it all back together. I'll have to find a few new metal screws from somewhere to replace the...

Re: Stripped screws on headlight assembly
Thanks everyone! They aren't Depo lights... I'm getting a set of screw extractors that fit a screwdriver handle cause the drill won't fit in there... So, if I do upgrade to Depo lights, they will fit better and be brighter etc? The reason I'm taking these out is because one side is hanging loosely a...

Stripped screws on headlight assembly
Anybody else have screws that just will not come out?? I'm needing to remove my headlights on my 92 Exceed, and one of the front screws is totally messed. There's very little room in there, but I was able to get my dremel with flexible shaft to attempt to make a slot in the screw.. It was too dark, ...

Re: Overdrive stopped kicking in
So, I go and check the oil the other day.. I look at the throttle mechanism, and notice that there was a nut that came loose on the linkage.. Ok, I tighten her up, and all of the sudden my MS Bitchi wasn't Bitchi no mo'.. Wht didn't I check that out before? Going up the Malahat at a top speed of 60k...

Re: Overdrive stopped kicking in
Ha..that's a little embarrassing, but brave to admit :)
Mine still ain't werkin..oh well. I'll have to take it somewhere I suppose. Any recommendations for somewhere around Victoria? Since it's not something supercritical, maybe taking it all the way to Parksville isn't necessary?
