Re: OOP OK Headlights
Sorry Mardy I forgot to thank you for responding earlier. Thanks for the info. It looks like I'm one step closer to getting a good parts connection in Germany. A friend is moving to Berlin for a year with his German wife and they're going to help me out. They'll be there in mid January. I'm hoping I...

Re: OOP OK Headlights
Sitting right in front of me as I type and anyone calling me and idiot or worse because of the amount I paid (posts in the past), please think before you do since I can decide for myself how to spend my own money thank you very much. Please read again Jesse. I was not calling you or anyone else exc...

Re: OOP OK Headlights
I've tried Green1. People are resourceful. If there is something you have thought of, the chance someone else thought of the same is very likely regarding headlights. You're right. People are resourceful. That's why some dealers have established connections already and are bringing in the lights in...

Re: OOP OK Headlights
At this point, whatever gets me on the road will do. Then when I find the lights at a non-inflated non-gouging price, I'll stick 'em on. I do have a friend whose wife speaks fluent German. Problem is they're in Prague. But I'm going to continue on this and in the meantime anyone else who might have ...

Re: OOP OK Headlights
So is there anyone in BC who has used snowplow lights or some other mod to get through the inspection? I'm interested to see who has done this here as obviously it's been done in other provinces. This whole headlight thing is getting ridiculous. As a community here, we should be all helping each oth...

Re: Extended Hinges for L300 & L400
I'll take flares for the L400 and as I mentioned before, the E headlights when you get them. I should be getting my spacegear by early summer. Can't wait!

Re: MOD: L400 poptop
That's super cool.
Jesse, where did you find your delica pop top? I've been looking for quite a while. I have a import partner in Japan who'd also been looking for me, but nothing so far.
Do you know of anyone that has done their own conversion with maybe a VW top?

Re: White Delica camperized @ coal harbour community center
That van is what I want. Camperized with pop top. Does anyone have any other info on these at all? Do you think a used pop top from a wreckers (probably off a VW) would work with a Deli? I guess the top would have to be custom made, but I'm wondering if anyone has tackled installing a pop top themse...

Re: New Member, 1st post
I can tell you not to bother with A&A Customs Brokers. I've dealt with them a few times and won't again. Short (almost to rudesness) on the phone, any glitches and it's the customer's fault. They did get my vehicles here and destuffed, etc, but charged one of my customers $400 for over-limit par...

Re: Delica reliability
Thanks very much for the comments/help. I can understand if a past negative experience with importing could cause people to become 'twitchy.' My partner in Japan, however, is a close friend whom I've known now for 4 years. He is not simply an importer that I've partnered with. I worked with him teac...

Delica reliability
Hi all, another newbie for ya. Although I'm really just an imposter as I'm not a Delica owner just yet. I currently drive a 1990 Toyota Surf. I lived in Japan for a couple years and brought it home with me. I like it, but am more and more interested in selling the truck and getting a Delica. Versati...
