Re: Lifted Delica L400

My neighbor has a 4 cyl gas delica. I didn't know they existed until he stopped by the other day and asked why I had 6 plug wires, haha. Is there a procedure to adjust the speedo sensor? Quick funny story about speedos: was cycling with a nice but kind of dumb guy once. After blazing down a giant hi...

Re: Lifted Delica L400

Wayne, before the lift I was averaging about 430 miles per tank on an 18 gallon tank. The size of the tires after the lift has made my odometer/speedometer inaccurate, so i dont know what I'm getting now. Hope that helps.

Re: Lifted Delica L400

Well, after some time I decided I liked the factory bull bar better. Here she is back in proper form. I added the aluminum sump guard too. I know it's not preferred to the steel ones, but this will do until I have a steel one fabricated. http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g13/waynesan76/DelicaSkidPla...

Re: Lifted Delica L400

Yeah, it's not growing on me so far...

I'll be picking up a JAOS skid plate next week and if it's not compatible the factory bull bar will go back on for sure.

Re: Lifted Delica L400

The tires are 34" X 14.5" R16, so no regearing necessary. I've read that only 35" and above requires regearing.

Lifted Delica L400

Hi fellas. I had a thread about my lift on the mods section, but decided to make a new thread where I could post pics from beginning to current and keep it updated. Some pics: When I first got her, sitting next to my RX-7: http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g13/waynesan76/0F420558-9091-4FA8-9AB4-A74E...

Re: For those without curtain rails.

Macro, thanks for the pics from the other post. :-D

For the front curtain, couldn't you also use the same hooks with some type of plastic anchor? Also if your hippy sheet is light enough, certain types of velcro stick well to the fabric that the delica interior is made from.

Just some thoughts...

Re: Custom Roof Rack

That looks really good, as does the deli. Careful you don't roll off during the night!

Re: I just purchased a 6" lift and could use some tips

Thanks guys! Macro, is that your deli in your avatar? I ask because I just picked up the same JAOS bullbar and could use a few pics of the mounts underneath and under the corner lights. The only thing I had to extend was the steering shaft which was included in the kit. The engine/transmission/trans...

Re: I just purchased a 6" lift and could use some tips

I got around to taking some proper pics today. I'll post these and then in the near future I'll update this post with pics and tips of the install itself to keep in the tech spirit... http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g13/waynesan76/DelicaFront_zpse879c029.jpg http://i52.photobucket.com/albums/g13/w...

Re: L400 4"/6" lift kit

Sorry if this post has been forgotten, but it's revived. I purchased a used 6" kit from 4wdshop.net, which is auto garage champ's English website. and I'm in the process of installing. It took a solid 9 hours today to get the rear installed, and I'm guessing it will take another 9 hours tomorro...

Haha, indeed. I'm on vacation right now and can't wait to get back to start this project. In the meantime, here's a pic of the wheels I'll be installing:

I just purchased a 6" lift and could use some tips

I stumbled across a great deal on a (presumably) complete 6" lift kit last week. It's a Japanese kit from Auto Garage Champ. So after about a week of searching posts on the Delica forums and google about lifts, do's, don't's, caution this caution that, I broke down and bought it. I couldn't res...
