On the Prowl

Hi!
Personally I've been admiring the Delica from afar for the past year, while my wife always exclaimed on how ugly and old it is. Now... as we've been looking into mini-vans for even longer (for a growing family, our tercel is getting quite small), she stumbled across info on how nice it is, and suddenly it's "Oh, but it's so cuuuuuute!" with her trying to convince me that we need one (not much convincing needed).
So now we're on the prowl, with the aim of getting one within the next 2-5 months (or less if the right one comes along), still trying to figure out if it's worth the risk importing, or going with a reputable dealer (though I have yet to see mention of financing options).
I've sat in one, and taken closer looks, I'm planning to testdrive one within the next 2 weeks or so. All in all, with a footprint similar to our tercel but with all that lovely room (even at 6'3" it wasn't too bad for me) and all the other bonuses it's the vehicle we've been looking for for quite some time now.
