So what I am trying to do here is get an idea of the basic mechanics of my Delica (Chester the molester). I would like to install the EGR blanking plates but I can certainly not do it myself, I am not mechanically inclined at all!
My proposal:
applies to anyone residing in and around Victoria, B.C.
- You (delica owner with experience installing the blanking plates) come to my place with some tools. Show me how to do it, and guide me through the process (I'll get my hands dirty while you watch!). I should have all the tools to cover it just in case you don't. We also go over the basics of the power plant, maintenance and things I should routinely check out. Big bonus if you can get or help me find blanking plates. Shouldn't take more than 2 hours from what I have read.
- I (owner of Chester the molester) take you out to the Brentwood Bay pub down the street for a pint and some dinner. Or I pay you some cash for your time and materials (if there are any). Your choice.
EGR blanking plate proposition.
