Can anyone recommend a bike rack for the Delica? I have seen quite a few used ones on Craigslist but I am not sure which kind would be best for the Delica.

PM mitch, he came up with a killer great design that sets up/takes down in seconds, attaches to the bullbars, and stores in almost zero space.

search bike rack and you'll find a thread with a photo. Appears to be mounted with quick release pins. Nice. Although I had a similar set up on my westie where I attached one of those swingaway types to a mount I had fabbed-up off the front bumper. I liked that it didn't interfere with the rear hatch, but the bikes did block the headlights somewhat and it did stick out a bit far - although this design here isn't quite so far forward and can obviously be fully and quickly removed when not in use. Just my two cents. Would like to see more photos and details. thanks.

Hey Everyone,

Just Finished my second rack on Seans Delica. see the pics of mine above.. I pre-fab'd a couple more kits and I can do the fitting, welding and install in my driveway. can do it in about an hour for $150

The rack has aluminum quick release prongs that can hold 2 heavy freeride bikes and is way more solid than any strapped system.

Mmmmm, I only have picked up sleeves, filed the bars to fit and taken the quick releases of our old bike trailer. Oh I have bought the right sized drill bit too (so long ago I can't even remember the size).

My welding buddy has gone up north for some work, I need to visit one of you welding guys/buddies.

Anyone looking for a rack in the GVRD needs to call Mitch. His system is perfect. You'll have to paint up the bars on the front after the work is done (I'm eventually going to Rhino / Bedline mine to avoid future scratches), but as Josh attested, it's stealthy - stupid simple to setup, take down, and takes no space. Bars are in the vehicle at all times! Just hands down better than my original plan for receiver hitch style rack. Perfect to 2 downhill bikes - or even 3 family bikes (ok, that was hard to figure out, but I did it!).
