Removing the Rear seats of an L400?

Can they be removed completely? Fairly easily? I cannot find any simple release, but maybe if I were to pry the plastic cover off it might be self explanatory? I would like to be able to remove them for more space for a bed. Also wondering about the captain chairs.

I can't tell you as I am not familiar with the L-400 ~ but I have moved your post to the L-400 Technical forum where you should get more feed back. It is also a forum where you might find the answer to your question, don't be afraid to use the search engine. There are a few forums that have information on subjects like this, such as L400 Delica Downloads or the Delica FAQ Section.

Welcome to Delica Canada, by the way ~ here is something that will help you navigate through everything: "Welcome to Delica Canada: Read This Before ......."

Yes, you can remove the rear seats. There are two bolts holding each seat under each plastic cover.

Cap chairs are removed via 3 bolts in floor. Remove 2 D shaped insulation pieces and bolts under. Lift carpet forward to access a bolt. They are heavy, be warned.

The ass end of the Delicas are light and need weight for winter traction. I frequently spin my wheels. (Did I say that?)

Sand or salt bags are a good winter addition. If all the rear seats are removed it lightens the back end but gives lots of storage/camping room.
