Hey all I have not been around the site for a while for good reason. I have been setting up a new company, Wet FX. I have come across a new modification process that some of you may be interested in, water transfer printing. Anything but fabric can be modified, inside or out. I have a utube vid that gives you a bit of an understanding about the process and what it can do. Keep in mind that depending on what kind of material we are printing on will determan what needs to be done to get the pieces ready to dip. I have access to over 1000 prints and yes it is affordable!!! If you are interested you can see the patterns at wetfx.ca. It is my site and is still being worked on. Send me a pm here and we can talk about anything that you may want done.

That is awesome. What type of material can be coated? or what can't be coated? as a ballpark to gauge against. What would the dash in video have cost to be done?

Anything but fabric can be coated, but I am going to play with fabric a bit and see what happends. As for price that dash would cost about $400 to $500. Keep in mind it was an old steal dash. There is time taken to sand blast, fix dents, and then etch prime, prime, and base. The films can be dipped directly to ABS (most interior parts are ABS). The films themselves have a trasparency to them thus the need for base coat but to keep a stock color you can have a custom look and keep the same color as the rest of the vehical. As for durability the film alone is tough and then I top coat with a high end clear coat in a gloss or matt finish depending on the film and what finish you want.

Thanks! I want to do the dash and trim in my delica but with over 1000 prints it is hard to pick one. I was thinking of going with diamond plate but we will see.
