Welcome Delman,

As far as what to watch out far, its difficult to say. What kind of shape is your ride in? What kind of work was done to it once it got here? Who did you get it from ?

If it was me , I'd first change out all the fluids if not already done ( and pay particular attention to the rad/overfill bottle.) Be prepared NOT to break and land speed record on the trip up, as these bricks arent the most powerful. 80kph in 3rd is the norm up on most hills in the interior. Watch out for the temp guage. Keep an eye out for black smoke on the climbs ( if you see it, you're wasting it - back off on the throttle till it goes away.)

Other than that , just the regular stuff to watch out for on a 15 year old vehicle.

Have fun and drive safe

And remember, she's a diesel, not a gasser. Drive her accordingly.

Welcome to Delica Canada :M .

Falco.

P.S.: Where are you based ~ I don't see it in your profile.

A good functioning cooling system is imperative on these rigs.

Waterpump/thermostat/rad cap/rad/hoses are 99% of the time changed on Delica's by new owners.
