Hi there,Is any one interested in an Okanagan Mini meet,I know almac is!!.I was thinking maybe a Barbucue at Kayola park in Oyama.Trail Master met me there some time ago to buy some filters thought it would be a great place for a meet and sounded stoked.
Let me know if your interested and when a good time would be for the Majority.

I've been talking about bringing the LMD tribe into the Okanagan for quite some times. We've been out to the Island a few times, maybe it's time to go East instead? I'd be interested for sure.

Would you guys only go out to look under the hood of your trucks or would there be some trails and camping involved? I'm trying to gather some people to go wheeling/camping on Aug. 13-15th, maybe it'd be a good time if anyone else would be interested? Other weeked might work, would just need to negotiate with my other half (that's the hard part...)

How does Camping at ellison park outside of vernon sound for the weekend of 14-16th?
I will be towing a tent trailer and have my two boys with me.There is most likley some 4x4 spots around there (Trail master lives there)I will be bringing my Mt bike and fishing rods!!Bring swim shorts too Okanagan lake is warm this year.Only crappy thing is the camp fire ban,Its not the same camping without a fire to guzzle beer around!!I can bring a propane fire pit however.We should probably pre book some spots before the hurtin albertins git em!!

Are the dates flexible? As per my other post I won't be able to make it on that weekend, work is too greedy of me apparently...

Would be great to convoy from LMD!

ever try to sleep at night when your neighbors at up playing loud music till 5am?

i think we should do some off roading to someplace like around the McCulloch Lake area.
this way we could avoid the crowds and fees...
we could "circle the wagons" and make a camp of our own.

we could all meet at costco(for supplies), and drive up there as a convoy together.

Its funny I have been all over the Okanagan but I have never been up to McCulloch lake!!
And I never seem to spend enough in costco!!

Agreed. As a rule I never camp anywhere that has a signup sheet, or a sign for that matter.

Yeah I hear you,Sometimes however its a little easyier with young kids.
We just got back from 2 weeks up north in Terrace in the middle of nowhere the Delica pulled a huge tent trailer all the way it was a lot of work without facilities like water and a bathroom....Now I need to put a new clutch in it!!
Anyway I am still in.

The weekend of August 21st might just work for us. I can't belive I missed this thread up until now...my bad! An Okanagan mini-meet is certainly in order

21st will hopefully work out on my side as well. I'll take my 3 1/2yrs old with me, he's been a good little helper in the past... Now I need to work on bringing the rest of the crew!
