Yoooooooo !
Long story short, I'm a musician living in Québec province who's been drooling over Delica Exceed pictures for 3 weeks. I'm currently driving a mere manual Toyota Tercel '99 (approaching 200000kms), and I've been wanting a real musician car with plenty of place for the road, that can also hitch our 600lbs 4'x6' trailer. I saw all those GMC, Ford and Chevrolet panel fuel-behemoths and I couldn't care less. Even the diesel ones are 8 cylinders... And I don't want a V6 gas van either. I also like better how the tires are positioned on the Delica Exceed. Not all the weight is on the back tires. The normal Delica and the Pajero have all the weight from the back seats/trunk/trailer on the back tires. At least the Exceed has some weight of the back seats between both tire sets. That might look stupid, but when the drummer and bass player are near 600lbs together, it's important !
Some guy in QC sells Mercedes-Benz MB100Ds. It was when I first found out about imported vehicules. However, he rips-off people big time by selling cars 10 000$ more than they should be, saying that it's made by Mercedes so it's expensive, so I lost interest. Then I found a used Toyota Hi-Ace, which led me in my researches to the Mitsubishi Delica Exceed, and it literally melt my face. I mean, look at this.
I sadly learned about the RHD ban in QC. However, since vehicules registered before the first ban in 2009 can still be on the road, I -think- if a dealer has a car already registered in QC it could get transferred. So I'm trying to find just that...
Meanwhile, how can I -see- the difference between the l300 and l400 you guys keep talking about ? For instance, is this a l400 ?
Also, I saw some dealers write in some Delica and Pajero ads "all weather version" or "winter ready with 2 batteries". Does that mean normal diesel versions won't start here in winter ? Winters in Québec can be rather humid... but my Tercel has NEVER thought twice when I turned the key, even in biting humid -30C degrees. I love diesel because of the fuel economy. My parents with their 4 cylinders 5 speed MB100 camper do about 800kms.
Anyway, I'm rambling.
Thanks and above all take care !!!
