Was cleaning out the spam box and found this headline from Sympatico: The "manly" minivan. Turns out it's a Dodge Caravan (I want the pills the ad guys are taking lol), with a; "sportier" look and includes a dark grey and black interior. Oh man those blacks seats will drive the mom's crazy at the soccer game....

Too Funny

Tried to imagine how the new manly owner of one of these vans would feel if a nice Delica pulled up beside them.

The problem with the minivan is the same problem the station wagon had is the same problem the panel van had: when used outside their design specs, people are unhappy with performance.

Funny thing is, if the market can slew even 1% towards the "Man Van" that could be potentially 10k units per year and all they had to change was the seat covers and the colour of the dashboard - kaching! huge mark-up. The cup-holders will be rebadged as beer-holders, and there will be an optional disappearing machine gun turret mount for those weekend hunters who are looking to spend time with their sons.

So, next year will will see the launch of the Harley Davidson edition minivan.

Built in booster seats will be billed as 'seating for woman of any size'.
