Okay, how much time you been spendin' over at DeliCat's place? How could you? What about all those times...

...in the woods? And there was that cheetah? And Doogie...

:?

No, wait. That's another story. I just finished watching "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle" and gotta admit I might be a little messed up.

Are you going to Africa?

Africa ?

I know they have some amazing Safari's there. 8-)

I think I'll do some more research and patrol the forums where there are good reviews on safari's.

Safari's are killer, the safari is a contender for a second for me if that becomes possible, safari or a SWB Paj the pak would mean I would have the same engine in both vehicles but I do love the safari. :-( :?

Safari's are great vehicles. reliable, fuel efficent (for a tank), quiet, powerful (even without a turbo they can move nicely)... yep, if i wasn't into Cruisers i would have one.

I'd love one, but they are a bit more pricey than a L400 aren't they? They are spacious though, I think Breadman bought one for his business a few years ago.

Ditto.

That was until I took a tape measure and was shocked.

There is more sq footage behind the driver/passenger seats in the Safari compared to the SWB L400.

I had to measure 10 times before I believed it.

I can almost stand up inside the Safari too.

Jesse, I didn't know you were a 4ft russian midget?!

David may be able to stand up though... :-D

Lots of conversions in Aus of these with pop tops, although you'll find more of the Landcruiser Troop Carriers (can't remember their international name) with that conversion. Now THAT would be a weapon of a safari vehicle ;)

okay okay ... You guys twisted my arm.

So I bought one for ridiculously cheap locally. My definition of a cheap JDM locally is not more than the cost shipping/taxes from Japan. So dirt cheap.

It's a project rig that I'll be working on from time to time similar to David's.

Delica's are still in our family :M so no hanging me up to dry !
:-D

Great choice on the Safari there Jesse.
I remember going off road in one in Cyprus years ago and it just loved everything that was thrown at it!I am sure the driver was trying to kill us but thats another story!!
Great rigs and your going to love playing with it.
Even better you managed to get it cheap!!That means more to spend on mods!!!!
