Lilooet Loop Weekend

Post by RichD »

This past weekend we took the Delica on a big loop through Lillooet and back.

First night we headed straight for Tricouni cabin road (that's what we call it; aka Lake Lucille road) and parked at the creekside bridge.

This is an easy spot to find at night and camp when heading up the coast highway late on a Friday. Location: http://maps.google.ca/?ie=UTF8&hq=&t=h& ... 04855&z=18

Other attractions here are Tricouni Meadows http://www.trailpeak.com/trail-Tricouni ... ish-BC-817, Lake Lucille, and some other stuff I'll have to get to know you better to reveal. ;-)

Cool!

How many hrs is the round trip? You gotta show me where that little cabin you speak of is located!

We drove at a casual pace for two days - maybe 10-12hrs all told. I could tell you the exact driving time when I dump the GPS data. We stopped at rest stops or to take pictures a lot, slept in, explored fire roads... Whats the rush? We could have gone farther in but we decided to come home and do something local on Monday in North Van.
