That is a classic. That was going around in '08 and I think it took place in the Winter of '07. Don't know who it was but it still makes me shutter to think that these things are possible and I wonder how easy it is to have a great idea that can turn into a disaster like that.

He's lucky the Deli is light and recoverable.
This is what happened when my friend's dad attempted a river crossing in his new work truck late in the season.
They pulled the vehicle out of the river a few weeks later with floater bags and I think he was able to recover his utility box and dumper but the rest of the truck was a complete write-off. Oh yeah, and this kind of thing is NOT covered by comprehensive insurance. The sign at the edge of the river even says "a vos risques!" (at your own risk)
The soundtrack is hilarious. Poor Carlo is terrified of water to begin with, and we were all very supportive, but secretly we laughed and laughed.

Yeah, it was posted here, about 2.5 years ago? They dried it out in the garage at home, it ran just fine, had a few minor electrical problems (headlights etc) so we showed his brother at one of our Deli-Meats how the headlight switch and wiring goes. Christine.
