I would encourage anyone in Alberta to contact your member of parliament ASAP before they accomplish what they are trying... Alberta transportation and AMVIC are hard at work to not only prevent RHD from being sold, but being driven as well.

Wow! "They are unsafe." It sounds like they've really done their homework, collected a bunch of data, and really put some thought behind their assertion. NOT! Simply more of the same regurgitant as the BC and QC groups.
Interesting, William, how AMVIC wants you to pay for the privilege (self-regulated as one might note from their own literature) of selling vehicles in the province of Alberta (sounds familiar to here in BC), but they essentially want to run you out of business by getting rid of RHDs.
I would think the motion itself is conflicting in nature on the basis that it is self-defeating for it's own members. You might be able to fight it, from within AMVIC, on that basis alone (or at least raise a stink). Or, as a member, demand the data they are using to push the Transport Ministry. Gather up the other RHD dealers and fight back. When you register, do they ask you what kind of cars you sell?
