Hi and Welcom Vampli,
Nice van! You obviously put a lot of time modifying it, you'll get lots of interest from members on this site. I haven't this style of spare tire holder before, not on a Delica anyway. Has it been mounted for a long time and is there any issues with tire weight and vibration?
I was in Tromso this late spring (beautiful!!!) and noticed a few Delica, they all had a different set up than ours, ie. no seats at the far back, only separated cargo area, obviously the left hand drive and also no long reflector panel with "Delica" on the tailgate...
Anyway, really like your roof and overall set up, seems like it's getting a good use!
Cheers,
David

Welcome to the Delica Canada, Vampli.
We have another member in Norway somewhere can't quite bring his name to mind. I noticed you have removed your reversing mirror. I tend to use mine all the time. Was there any reason in particular why you removed it?
I noticed that you guys have Winter in Norway, which brings me to my next question: Do you have issues between the cold and the performance of your tailgate struts?
Good to have you here and I look forward to many more stories about your adventures in Norway & Iceland.
Falco.

Hi Vampli,
Lovely Delica, and I like the custom interior -- very practical.
Your Warm 6000 winch, can you post clear photo of how you attach it. How strong is the attach point, can you winch another vehicle.
The other person living in Norway who is a member on this website is Shoosty, a Canadian working in Voss and Bergen, who enjoys white water kayak.
I also visited Norway a few years ago, very beautiful scenery and the climate is very similar to British Columbia, and the people are so very nice.
Cheers, Christine.

Hello
I lost my mirror 10 min before the picture was taken. Here is a picture with a new mirror fitted.
I have never had any problem with the tailgate struts in cold weather. But my struts is replaced because the tailgate was destroyd in a crash.

Ah... I didn't mean the wing mirror, Although I see that now (nice job, by the way). I was referring to the small mirror that is often found mounted above the rear window.
Christine is right, I was thinking of Shoosty (thank you Christine). We actually have a number of members from out of Canada in this site. Some are from Catalonia Spain; Hungary; Sri Lanka; Fiji ~ not mentioning the members from other countries with Delica Clubs such as Russia, Australia, the UK, the Philippines, Japan, &c..
You will find many resources in Delica Canada, amongst those I would recommend researching "Delica Canada Technical", which you will find in the forum index.
Med vennlig hilsen,
Falco.

The best part with your van Vampli is that it's used and abused, love it!

Welcome vampli! Sweet looking beast! Love it!
Looks like you have a long wheel base l300. Popular in the Europe, but I haven't seen one in Canada.
I like how you attached your roof rack to the rain gutter.

Tres cool!
I noticed that you have the funnel facing aft. Most of the snorkels I see the funnel is facing forward. Is there a particular reason for this or is this just style? By the way, there are a few threads in this forum regarding snorkels that you might be interested in.

Hello and thank you. I put it that way to keep the rain out, but maybe i'm going to replace it with a zyclonfilter later on....

I'm going to presume that your air filter system is the same as mine, in which case there is a dust & water trap at the bottom with a one way valve on it. Delicat installed a snorkel on the Mitsushi and discovered that with the funnel facing forward it also acted as a ram-air system, or appears to. Do you find the engine runs any hotter with the funnel facing aft? I know it is standard practice on ships to do this. I am just curious ~ you may be on to something.
