Well, not quite a new owner yet, since my 93 Delica Chamonix is just leaving Japan today and will arrive in Vancouver by the end of the month. Stay tuned...

Re: New Delica owner in Sooke, BC
Hey all,
Went to get my Deli in Vancouver a couple of weeks ago. Awesome! I want to put in a serious plug for the folks at Japanoid, especially Dean, who took the concept of customer service and attention to detail to a whole new level. They picked up the vehicle for me at the port, did the necessary conversions to pass BC inspection, conducted the inspection, and arranged all the ICBC paperwork with a local insurance agent.
Very happy with it so far. Took it up to Mt Washington (local ski resort) last weekend from Victoria. Great trip. Looking forward to exploring the area near us this spring and summer.
Now, I just need to figure out how to install that darn front passenger speaker! ;)
Later,
Michael
P.S. Puntledge is a handle I use here and there. I used to live in a house right on the river in Courtenay some years back. As for paddling, I've been on the Campbell, Gold, and Nimpkish rivers, but strangely enough never the Puntledge...
