Late Model 1993 (94 style) Delica Star Wagon, Exceed Trim, Turbo Diesel, **Rare 5spd**, Very peppy off-the-hop compared to Automatic and can hits higher top ends speeds, It is even rarer to find a 5spd with Crystal lite roof w/ Front Sunroof, Low 93,000kms, New Battery, New Goodyear Tires $$, Other new parts and service done, Modified and has passed BC inspection. I thought the manuals were geared lower, which would mean they wouldn't be able to go faster at the top end.

Possibly a wider ratio of gears in the 5-speed.

From the description it looks like only "$$". Even with taxes extra, that sounds like a pretty good deal.

Not unless they changed the transmission - most manual-drivers acknowledge their bus is not as fast as the automatics.

Hello, the Delica is going in for servicing tommorow. I will know the exact price depending on how much work the mechanic does (which fluids, belts etc). Mechanically it has already passed the BC inspection.
Definitly this Delica has more power off the line than automatic. Can lay nice patch if you pop the clutch. Going to check also if it has LSD (not sure how yet). As for top speed, I am basing my opinion on the "seat of the pants meter". I think it has more go on the freeway as I've had it up to decent speeds on HWY 91/99... I guess because of the 5th gear compared to 4 gears with the Auto?? Also good for mountain climbing/passing as you can easily drop down the gear.
If any out of province/sight unseen buyer are interested, I can bring it to a 3rd party mechanic for inspection/verification. You just pay the tow costs and inspection cost. This is my favorite Delica so far. I wish I could keep it for myself but my budget only allows for one vehicle and I need my my pickup truck for work. Thanks!
