Not a Delica, but still JDM. 1993 Isuzu elf 150. Quadcab 4x4, 3.1l. I bought this truck for work; I tow a small chipper and run a tree service. It works good for a gulf island and little roads and lots here, but not much jam to pull a load up hills at speed. I'm leery to drive it up the Malahat, if you know south VanIsle. So far so good, but finding tires for the rear duallies is tough. The 165R14 LT doesn't exist here, so I've got passenger tires that have enough for the 1270kg. That and one of the threads on the wheel hub is stripped, and was welded on. Didn't notice until putting the tires on now, several months later. . . I'm hoping I can learn more about keeping this truck healthy from this site.
I paid too much for this truck but still like it. Looking to get it into Coombs Country Auto soon, and have the little motor tuned and some bearings done. If it survives the winter I want to put a dump on it. Anyone have experience with these smaller Elfs?
