Hello Delica readers,
I am an irrational Delica fan. Briefly I am not a mechanic and not even closer to one. I made move to buy on a couple months ago... I love Delica's despite the fact some average mechanic treat me and my car like if we have prostate Cancer.
Some chop in Richmond may try to take advantage of your lack of knowledge so ask for second opinion before to make move on repairs... It could save your a lot of dineros.
I am starting to figure things out with that thing... Even if you are a mechanical dummy I still recommend it.

Hey donkey good to meet you. Thats a nice looking bus you have there. You may not be a mechanic now but in a years time if you keep
coming back to this site you will on your way to being one. I have been a diesel mechanic for 21 years and I learn new things here
on a regular basis. I hope we can help you get used to your new wheels.

Yep, I'm with Al on this one...welcome and we need to do an Okanagan meet. There is getting to be more and more of us around here...yay!

Last weekend I did a drive around the lake from Penticton to Vernon and back, and while I didn't see any Delica's on Westside Rd or any of the dirt roads I took, I did see more than 10 different Delica's on the highway stretch from Vernon to Kelowna alone (including one driven by a real cute redhead! WIN.) and then a few more again around Peachland and then the usual suspects I see all the time back home in Penticton. There is getting to be a quite a few around! To put it in perspective I saw more different Delica's than I did FJ Cruisers. Still only seen one L400 around though (passing through OK Falls).

Hey Dennis,
I'll be heading through Kelowna on my way to my Dad's place in Peachland tomorrow and was planning on taking the Delica...so, there's a chance of being spotted...haha
Looks like we need to plan a meet up pretty quick. I was hoping to check out Allen's new L300, which could be a good time to plan a meet...short notice though.

i will be in the vernon area over the weekend, and probably back to kelowna next week sometime.
not sure on the kelowna dates, i hate waiting for phone calls...
anyways, you guys give me a date, and i'll do what i can to be there!
