Bio diesel engine-treatment cocktail?

Not sure if this post should be here or in the L300/400 technical section, but here goes...
Counting down to a shiny new (to me) Delica from Mardy, and been reading up on posts here and on the UK site regarding the proliferation of IP-and-related-seal failures due to ultra-low-sulphur dino-diesel.
While I do not plan to run high levels of biosiedel for the time being, I have read a study where a 2% mix of bio-diesel (B2?)replaces a large amount of the lubricating properties of the sulphur, and is a Generally Good Thing To Do.
Fair enough, sez I. My plan was to go and buy some high grade bio from the Vancouver Co-op down on Industrial Ave. and add a litre or so when I fill up.
But I got to thinking - if I'm going to that length, why not go further and add in some extra ingredients (some thyme, basil, a little oregano...) and make up a broader-spectrum pre-mix cocktail to add to each tank.
Has anybody had experience with mixing biodiesel with other compounds and having unfavourable (or really good) results? My current thoughts on the mix are:
- primarily biodiesel, plus,
- engine seal lubricant/treatment for extra-happy seals, plus
- diesel fuel stabilizer/water treatment to stop the fuel from gelling
Hoping to save me some grief in the long run by keeping the internals happy, or is such a mix just overkill?
Tony.
