Just thought I would drop in and say hello, I haven't been around for a while.

All of my time has been taken up with moving, working and trying to sort out the new house.

Been working on the drive and trying to get the workshop up

Drive done, workshop not yet but most of the house is now decorated so not doing too bad only been in here 5 weeks.

And I have just made myself a Facebook group for the Delisaurus, just because I had nothing else to do and was feeling a bit bored

Anyone that wants to join feel free, but when you join please send a message with your club username on so I know who you are.

Nice to see you again Drooper - Hey, at our last meet I finally met an L-400! Island Hopper showed up with his new baby. Sure are different, but delicas all the same - pretty cool, really

What did you think of it?

Well, it was a little smaller than I had imagined. I didn't take it for a drive either, so my opinion is still based only on appearance. I like the rear seat set up, and I suppose there is something to be said for the walk-through to the back..., but then I took the rear seat out of my 300 and I like the hump separating the driver's space from the rest. And the most important thing is the loss of the cab-over set up. It's almost a total deal breaker for me; cab-over is the core essence of the 300's charm and what really attracted me in the first place. I would own a 400, but I can't see it ever being more than my second choice. I am looking forward to seeing more at the meets though, and taking one or two for test runs

I must admit I do like the look of the 300s but simply by the fact that you lose the cab over makes the 400 more comfy on the road and off of it due to not being sat right over the axle.

Plus due to having the kids the walk through makes it easier for us to get to them if we need to.

The extra grunt of the 2.8 lump is handy but with that comes the extra fuel consumption.

Oh and the headlights on the 400 are excellent in my opinion.

Nope, I had tried that. Now even tried copy and paste of what you typed. Still nothing. Weird. Could it be that you are in the UK and I'm in Canada? Shouldn't be, since I see the other UK groups.

Its a closed group and you would either have to be invited or approved but that shouldn't stop you finding it.

I almost feel like you will be disapointed when you get there now , cause its still young group and not much has happened.

I have just tryed to change the settings on the group but for some reason it won't show up in the search.

Wow! The exclusivity of that group has piqued my interest - can I join? Seriously, let me in. I want to be a part. Aw... come on now.

Does it have anything to do with the difference between "Facebook.ca" and "en-gb.facebook.com"? Just wondering, 'cause they seem like different groups.
