North Van - Meet a Newby

Would anyone be interested in a meet n chat somewhere in North Van sometime...?

I've had my Delica for a month and love it, Butch has done the CVI Delica Tune and checked the fluids/flushed the transition fluid and ran through a few things with me.. I'm pretty new to most things cartech but am willing to learn and it would be great to meet other Delica owners and get some tips.

I'm open to ideas of where and when to meet, I'm available lunchtime and evenings, weekends tend to be booked up with adventures :) but sometimes not :(

I'd be up for that. Weeknights are good for me, except Friday's of course...our weekends are filled with adventures too

I'm still pretty new as well, but i'm sure we'll get some seasoned vets out.

I'm sure there are better places to meet, but if all else fails we could meet at the CT/McDonald's parking lot across from MEC.

BTW, did you have your van down at CVI on Thursday I think it was? there was a nice Super Exceed with a custom bamboo center console I was admiring.

No that wasn't me. I was there Saturday morning for a quick oil change.

Maybe if we actually set a date and time there might be more interest.

IS THERE ANYONE ELSE THAT'S INTERESTED? YOU OBVIOUSLY DON'T HAVE TO BE FROM NORTH VAN TO ATTEND. WE ALWAYS TRAVEL TO BURNABY FOR THE MEETS, SO IT WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE A GOOD TURN OUT HERE

I'll swing by for sure... the only challenge being that I really can't before 7:45pm... hope somebody will still be there...

If not... oh well, I only live a few minutes away...

As for Malt and Barley: There used to be some kind of grill/bar in that mall too (Montana's or sth?) - but they are gone...

As an alternative there is the Driftwood or Longwood (?) Pub (is it called Driftwood or Longwood? Not sure) - it's on the other side of Mainstreet a bit further east towards the Bridge... There's always tons of large semis and trucks in the parking lot... (there is some kind of car wash place in front of it now, right across from Petrocan...)

In any case, I'll swing down to CT at 7:45 and if nobody is there I'll head over to Drift / Longwood and if nobody is there either.... well, in that case I'll go back home...
