Delica Canada | Mitsubishi Van Club

Hi everyone!

My husband, Brendan and I got our 93 Delica back in April. I've been lurking around the message board since then, so thought I'd finally post something.

I'm really having a great time driving our new toy around town. I'm surprised at the response from people interested in it. We feel like a celebrity or something when people stop to ask us about it. Even when we are driving.

First thing we replaced...the radio. Actually got 2 stations for a bit before the obviously crossed wires cut out the reception. Eventually new speakers will be put in and we need to add the missing curtains.

I understand its summer and everyone is out and about town, but I'd love to meet some of you for coffee one of these days!

Hi Cindy & Brendan, Welcome to the cult, glad you got your courage up to end your lurking & come out. You should just arrange a deli-meat online, find a nice place and set a date and time (give them a choice of 2 dates, then go with group concensus), the Victoria group all seem quite normal each time we have met up with them for camping treks. You should make sure you attend the CC Autos Appreciation day in August(?) as you'll learn heaps about your deli, and meet heaps of owners as many of us from the mainland join the trek to guru glen and the lads at CC Autos in Coombs (we just park overnight in his lot and chat). If you're over this side of the moat, let us know, and we can do a deli-meet. Cheers, Christine.
