Bed system

Post by Drumster »

A few weeks ago I came across a mod someone did to their L300 where seats were removed and a bed platform was installed at wheel well height. Two storage drawers were installed under the platform, one at side door, the other at back and each drawer was mounted with slider-type drawer mounts. there were several photos etc. This was on, I believe, a Delica forum site but I have been unable to find it again. :-( Does it sound familiar to you? If so, please post a link.
Cheers :-) !

Thanks, but that isn't the one. :-( This other one I saw had shallow wooden tray-type drawers with the same type of sliding suspension mounts as you find on keyboard drawers etc, but much heavier. There was a reference to shopping at Lee Valley so maybe they were bought there.

I do like the folding bed platform in this other one though. That's pretty cool too. :-)

Search term supplied was "lee valley" (with the quotes)

That would be my van, works very well. Although it is a bit of work putting it all in. I've also made roof racks and fastened a 10' awning to them. I'll have to get some pics of that on here soon. :M
