New setup , now a folding platform to accomodate bikes and stuff, also made the drawer height to fit my toolboxes, the legs automatically drop when I flip the top, makes it way easy to pack sheets of drywall/plywood /doors etc. the raised dowel keeps stuff from sliding around. This way my main tools are out of sight and I can still carry bigger stuff like saws and compressors beside or in front. Also have a foamy for camping and our feet hang over the reclined captains chairs, not ideal for that but not bad either , might get another foamy to raise our feet a bit. Just have one seat out temporarily.Used shelf brackets to bolt to back seat attchment.
I use my van for work (construction supervisor) and have been driving the S**t out of it lately with projects all over the peninsula and greater vic area. I've put on 80,000 + km since I bought it almost time for new belts .
Edit - the platform and drawer are 54" long - if your lumberyard carries baltic birch plywood it often comes in 5'x5' sheets and is a superior product for projects like this
cheers
