Could it be true? Is it possible? Or am I the last to know about this site?

I know somewhere there was talk about Delica model cars. In my one of many searches on the web I came across this site.

So I took one for the team and ordered it. Total 4,320 yen ~ $50.00. Half of it is shipping.
I can't beleive I spent $50 for a model. Surprsingly my wife didin't say anything but, "i get to build it!".

I can't believe that I just ordered one too....

I had tried to order from a different site first... but they were sold out - so after about 2 months of waiting, I got the charge on my Visa reversed through paypal...

Let's hope this company still has some in stock....

What about that guy that just went to japan and was wondering if we wanted stuff ?!!!
We should see if he would bring back a dozen or so and we will pay him a bit extra for the trouble.....
Way cheaper than $50 a piece !

I want one really bad now. I wonder if the shipping cost would be the same for one as it is for couple of these ?

Model came in a few days ago, just being lazy with this computer thing.
Now it's up to my wife to build it.

Btw, i may get dinged duty. Will know in a few weeks time.

I'll just think of it as Delooka's one year anniv. present since arriving to Canada.

Uh Oh... old post - but the plastic model is still kicking around....:

I have an "un-built", originally packed model like the one pictured in this post available... ordered it for $ 50.00 at the time (2009) of the original post. Never got around to building it - and don't have the real deli anymore...

Anybody who would like it can have it for $ 50.00 (inflation adjusted, since 2009 this is a steal )

I assume that's what it came to with shipping and duty? The site is saying $21.27USD.
No time to get it built?

Correct... Purchase price was something like U$ 22 or so - the rest shipping/handling... I believe I may be forgetting tax upon import... But I don't know that anymore... Anyway... At the end my visa was billed $ 50.00...

Tease. Shouldn't be allowed on this site. I'd love one but xmas is too far away.
