Hi from the Kootenays :)

Hi all
We've been looking at the delica and are wondering if it is worth it to pay the extra and have an importer bring it in or to buy from Brave Auto ourselves?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Don't think I know that particular dealer but unless you have a really good connexion in Japan that knows what to look for ~ I would be more inclined to buy in Canada where I can kick the tyres, as it were... smiles.

:M Welcome to Delica Canada, Kesandjim!

To answer your question with another question: how much are you prepared to lose?

Hook up with the right importer and it's like buying any other used car. Hand over a cheque, bolt on some license plates and drive away. Zero hassle (for you). Maximum fun. Unless, of course, you like doing government paperwork.

I got Gumdrop though Japanoid. Major service (including timing belt) before leaving Japan, compliance, inspections, etc. all done. We've been very happy together. :-)
