Are we ready for a meet soon? Any suggestions?

That might be cool if you're talking the Calgary area. I might be able to organize some Pajeros from my forum to crash the meet as well, if you'll accept us?

Zing, but seriously.

Since I organized the last two meets, I wouldn't be fair for me to hog the planning for yet another one. So I'll sit back and let someone else run it.
I would, however, suggest proposing several dates at least a month ahead, then picking one based on feedback. That gives everyone the best chance of scheduling.

Agreed, good idea.
Would a camp week-end in the mountains be of interest?

I'm sure when the next meet starts getting planned, it will be mentioned in this thread, then a new thread started.

Would a meet in late April be too late? I'll be driving to the far far East (aka poutine land) and it'd be great to stop on the way and meet you all!

Hey, aren't we supposed to imitate Americans and call them wildfires now? As for when that starts, I know Calgary has gotten grassfires on Jan 1st, so that season is year-round!

Fire season offically stars April 1st, but I probably won't be flying until end of April, or beginnig of May (although fires tend to dictate when they'll burn, not me).
The biggist limiting factor will probably be my wife telling me if I'm allowed to go or not. Diapers apparently won't change themselves, even if you leave them long enough. I've tried.
and yes, the offical SRD terminology is wildfire, but if you wait a week, someone else will be minister and it will change again.

We just might be driving back from Vancouver with a new Deli in April

It would be neat if I could time it right. I will have the family with me though. Would be a quick visit.

Jason, when are you thinking of traveling back to Alberta? I'll be driving across Canada with my younger boy so if you'd be leaving around Apr. 17-18 we could share the road...
I'd like to be in Calgary area for a weekend so I could meet most of you guys but if I show up early/mid-week, anyone would be available for a meet?
My other option would be to travel through the states, seems easier to find wvo down south... but I'd miss some good people
