So this weekend i figured i'd strip the truck rite down and do a full inspection of the interior for leaks and rust... thankfully both turned up negative. (i was a bit suspicious cuz the back carpet always seemed damp and stunk real bad. but i guess it's just from my dog jumping in and out all the time with the weather we've had recently

so i ripped everything out quarter panels, head liner, etc etc. and i tossed the rear carpet in the washing machine on a "Slow" wash and with lots of soap (when the Misses wasn't looking cuz i'm pretty sure i would've got shit for it!! hahaha :-D) it came out looking brand new!! and smells nice too :)

then i screwed some soft wrench bags to the underside of the rear seats and seeing as i had the whole thing apart i swapped out the rear 6 1/2" speakers for some aftermarket Hertz ones. so if you've got a dirty carpet that needs a refreshing then try throwing it in the washer!! (on cold obviously)

everytime i get into little project on this thing i'm frickin blown away by the build quality... :M

out of curiousity, do the tools clink at all when you´re offroading?

Yeah, do the tools 'clink' around?

Do they slide out when the seats are down? I think I'll hunt down a set of those.

I would do this in my L300 but I take the bench out a lot, when I get an L400 I might be something to do as those seats would stay in more often I think.
