This is to introduce Luxury to the Delica forum.
if you really want to know who we are then check out the site
http://www.luxuryimports.ca and read the testimonials there. This is the best way to introduce a company in our minds, to let our customers speak for us. check out our sold sections and look at the mileage and condition of the units we sell.
what has the other importer companies done for the OWNERS of imported units and their customers?
Here is
what Luxury has done , we started IVOAC
http://www.ivoac.ca (Imported Vehicle Owners Association of Canada) on Jan 19th/07 to fight for and with our customers and other owners of the units.
We are proud of the site, the committee, the members...the Brotherhood that has developed as a result.
We are proud of the success the fight has already accomplished.

Geez,
Come on MDrive, I monitor both forums and it's plain to see how much time, effort and passion Wayne puts into both delivering/supporting JDMs he sells and supporting the community politically as well!!
Wind your neck in!!

I never said Wayne is not putting any effort. All his work are great and I am grateful for that matter. What I am objecting is, others are not just sitting and watching. For example, Louis from CAVI organized many steps.
In BC we (5 or 6 dealers) did few meetings with the initiative of Steve (SCI), clarify many things with BC CMVSS.
I can not go details about the meetings but there were many positive inputs.

oh mitch, I see where you're coming from. All I have to say to all dealers is be careful how you go about things on here, it is a small community, and word travels fast. Think long and hard about what you write, you can't unwrite it.
Keep it civil, and keep the shit slinging to a minimum.
This is just a friendly reminder, I don't care what you do, but keep in mind your success will mirror your attitude.

LOL!!
Hey Mdrive, CAVI is souly for the importers not the owners. they could not care less about the owners of these units, all they are caring about is the bottom line...money.
beating my own drum?? yah, i guess i am. (do you see me sending out emails asking for $300 right off the bat?) have you seen what has been achieved by the committee at IVOAC? what have you accomplished besides trying to sell vehicles and poorly constructed parts? what have you returned to the RHD community?
i have viewed most of your posts, you do not supply information on repair, maintainence, upgrades, warnings or answers... you do not supply information on how to fight to win against the 15-year rule change... what is it that you really do?
i wish Louis all the best in his fight, with the support he has gathered he will need it.
i am proud of what IVOAC has accomplished.
If you are not part of the solution, you are part of the problem.
Luxury is part of the solution and working hard to stay that way.

Ha ha ha... with the poorly constructed parts, people are passing their cars and driving legally, including your-self.
Maximum overdrive first created Skyline DOT lights, We supplied Hiace Van Front end conversion, We installed on all vehicles with E coded and DOT lights months before while many other were just saving money and were not doing anything. These reckless people (with non compliance car) put us in today's position.
What others contributed will reflect at the end of the battle. Nothing, nothing has been accomplished yet, once it is accomplished we will all see and know who did what.
Every car we sell goes through FULL servicing (major work involving Fuel pump, TBelt, WP, etc), we support all our vehicles and customers.

I doubt it will be closed as it fairly accurately reflects character, however nothing is stopping you from editing or deleting your posts.

nothing has been accomplished by the IVOAC committee and members?!?!
are you for real?
man, it must suck to live in such a tiny, uninformed world.
lets see what IVOAC has accomplished:
--a illegally siezed silvia returned to it's rightful owner and the case reopened AFTER it had be sold through the TC auction.

the sale was stopped and the unit returned.

.. i guess this is nothing to you but to the rightful owner it means everything

...did you participate in this?
---the committee got to read over the new memo and approve it BEFORE the draft was finished by Mike Woods... we got the JIS report accpted 8) that was sitting on Mike's desk for 3 weeks untouched. yah, i guess that is nothing to you as well.
---we were instramental in having TC doing a review of the 15-year rule instead of having it posted in the Gazette... i guess that is nothing as well

...well at least to you, to the OWNERS this means a lot.
am i beating the drum? nope just stating the facts...i am letting them beat the drum for me 8) ...
as for standing behind you customers? i have a busted headlight here that you sold and you are not standing behind it, i guess that is an example of your warranties

...
i have wasted enough of my time on you

... i am out of here.

MDRIVE and CRUSHERS,
No matter how important it feels to defend yourself and attack the other... NO GOOD IS COMING OF THIS! you both end up looking foolish. Please, just be grown ups, dont air your dirty laundry in the forum.
We see from past posts what you both truly look like, so if you feel you have been seen in a positive light then dont jepordize that, and if you have been seen in a negative light, well... lets just say this doesnt help.

I won't waste my time anymore here either. Just a note for Crusher, You were never my customer. You never purchased anything from me. So there is no issue of warranty. Show me the proof of purchase.
Look at this link and refresh.... (
http://forum.ih8mud.com/showthread.php? ... ght=mdrive ) Few months ago you thought it was all rumor and some dealers were spreading rumors for panic sales.
In your own forum, (deleted already) you were crying that your business, your effort will be lost due to the rule change. (it is all about business i guess).
Look at this posting
Mazda Delica
4 wd
2500 cc
5 spd or auto
i have been eyeballing these for a while. i think they would be a great putting vehicle. Mazda has a great reputation for longivity and fuel economy.
if no one is bring them in contact me if you are interested.
cheers

Glad you two have decided to step out of this discussion; please, no more replies needed here.
I have seen sweet rigs sold by both of you, and the owners have been very happy to express how pleased they are feel about there purchase. Of the last two, very premium ($$$), JDM's I saw on the same day; both the satisfied owners expressed positive statements about your respective businesses.
Please continue your involvement and support in our little forum here, we all welcome your input.
Cheers,
Kev
