Hello all,
New member. Scouring for info on winterizing deli's. I'm hoping to get one by march and will be moving back to the cold winters of Saskatoon. I'm grateful for all the info here!

Hi Jeff, welcome to our community.

Regarding Winter and the Delica ~ go to the search engine and type in: "Chains" & "Block Heaters". That ought to get you started. Other things that come to mind are battery blankets; wrapping garden hose around anything hose like underneath the Van. Also, if you are looking to purchase a Delica then consider getting one with the "Winter Package". This is recognisable by an inch by four inch orange sticker on the back window with red Japanese writing. What this means is it has: Two batteries; more durable upholstery on the seats; More resilient carpet on the floor; an heavier paint job on the body. At least for the Chamonix model. It was designed for the north Japanese island of Hokkido where the Winters get to 15 degrees below zero. By the way, these vans are also used in Siberia.

One other thing you can do is look in the "Events" forum and see what is going on nearest to your current area. Face to face chats with Delica owners is worth the drive to a mini-meet.

Good luck! Falco.
