I'm looking for places in the lower mainland that sell the Stanadyne Fuel Manager 100 Series elements since that's what Andrew's kit uses and mine seems to be getting plugged up. Someone here must have found a place that stocks them, if so please share!

Dynamic Fuel Injection in langley 533-1893 or VALLEY FUEL INJECTION in Abbotsford 853-6096 should either stock or be able to get them.
Both had them when I was looking for Racor replacements.

So it seems the 6" filter is not something the Canadian warehouse stocks, it has to be back-ordered, so 6 weeks for that, but the 5.1" filter (5 micron) is available at the warehouse, so a week to get that in.
Edit:
Jim's Fuel Injection Service in Vancouver (112-1083 E. Kent Ave) has the 5 Micron 5.1" filter in stock.

Got the 5.1 inch 5 micron version at Jim's but it was $27.95 incl. taxes!!!!
Thinking maybe a different filter system would be more economical if they plug up fast and cost almost as much as the Delica's oil filter.
Also noticed some rubbing on my power steering line when I removed the filter head to replace the filter, so gonna have to re-design the mounting bracket a bit.

These are the two filters - the smaller size is what's available locally.

Anyone with Andrew's WVO kit want to go in on a group buy for the 2 micron filters? I found them in the US for $15.86 each but they are charging as much for shipping. Let me know if you are intertested.

I could go for 5, that should keep me good for a while. Thanks 39Ronin!

Here is an example of what they are charging for 10 filters. I am working on a couple of other leads closer to home before we purchase these. I found Fleetguard and CAT 2 micron filters and I may switch my header to accept those, they are spin on and I think you could find them anywhere.

Not sure what's going on with filter issues these days. Plantdrive's filters are back order as well and for some time now... I'd be very tempted to switch to Racor as they don't seem to have that issue but it would require to change the filter head and configuration, not good.

Hey David, there is a Fram filter that is compatible with the PlantDrive VegMax. I don't have the product number with me right now, but I'll post it when I do. I picked up a couple from Lordco for $6 a piece. They don't look as large as the standard Ramco filters that come with the VegMax, but they sure are a lot cheaper.
EDIT: A Fram P1101A will fit. According to Ed Beggs it is "not as good a filter, and not a water separating type, but might be ok for short term use.
There might be others that fit that are better filters."

Ok this the other route I was thinking of going as long as space within the engine bay allows me.
Caterpillar Filter 1R-0750 (2 micron) (threads 1-14 UNS-2B )
Fleetguard FF5320
Donaldson P551313
Baldwin BF7633 (BF7587, Long Version)
Wix 33528
Luber-Finer LFF3347
ACDelco TP1326
Fram P8334
Purolator F65213
NAPA FIL3528
Hastings FF1079 (FF1056, Long Version)
The Fleetgaurd filter size is:
Largest OD: 93.47 mm (3.68 in)
Overall Height: 176.28 mm (6.94 in)
These are 2 micron rated filters and I'm sure I can find a header for the 1-14 UNS-2B type filters, I bet I can even get one with a primer on it. I saw some threads on a TDI forum about the Fleetguard filters so I decided to look into it. I will price them out at Napa or at Lordy Co tomorrow... maybe... if I'm not too busy.
I think these will be available locally and from what the wizard of internet says they should be between $12 - $18.

Thtat's great work 39Ronin!
I'll keep watching this post as I haven't installed the filter assembly yet so still time to find a better system before I start running the lines.
Thanks,
David

Baldwin BF7633 - $9.04 , Baldwin BF7587 - $10.13. Both available at Les Hall Filter in NVan. I had to call em anyway so I thought I might as well ask.
