NO NEED TO YELL lol, call coombs country auto, Amazing imports, or john at rock mountain imports. I think that you can get it your recored or have the port cleaned out by hand at any rad shop though, guess it depends on what is wrong with the old one.

Hey Loki,
What does that mean "recored" - I've seen it mentioned in other posts regarding rads. Is it literally pulling the side pieces off and replacing the middle of the rad (fins and stuff)??

Curious

Yup you are correct, they just pull off the "tanks" (ends or sides) and replace the cooling tubes in the middle.

just had mine recored at "cool-it" in burnaby. 604-430-4622. $390 all in without re&re. the new core has 20 less columns(x3), so 60 less tubes and way less fins than stock. the dude said it was made for our climate, but I think it's got something to do with the price of brass and copper, and soldering all of those tubes. anyway I wasn't stoked to see that but at least its not aluminium......anyway I don't want it getting too cool or the veg oil won't heat up;)
