Hi everybody, just a quick one to let you all know that we like strange vehicles down here too.
Apart from our '91 NH 3.0l v6 Pajero, our other pride and joy is our '86 SE L300 4wd Express van.
This truck has been to every gold field in Australia, (wish I owned it then), and we've had it for the last 6 1/2 years, during which time it has done everything from being a kid taxi to being a work van to scaring the christ out of the missus when she hears "um....yeah....it'll make it.....". (Thank God someone invented Air Jacks...heheh). Sadly, after 380,000 really bloody hard kilometres the 2.0l 4g63 has decided to call it a day but thanks to my brother's wife killing the transmission in her '98 Hyundai Sonata, the van is gunna be fitted, (with yet to be imagined stuffing around!!), a really nice fuel injected version of the same engine. I'll let you all know how it goes. Thanks for the chat and love your site.
