Hey there!
Yes, yet another Delica enthusiast has been born!

My previous vehicle has had an untimely demise, and so I am forced to venture
out into this cold unwelcoming market..... or so I thought until I found this sight!

I'm avidly looking for the right Delica for me. Crystal roof is now a must, low kms and a stick shift
coming close seconds...

A couple questions if I may:

1: I live in Tofino, BC, but am able to get around the island and over to Vancouver easily enough. Any recommendations for dealerships/importers?

2: My budget is limited to $10,000 and under. Is there any hope of purchasing something worthwhile that I won't have to be fixing every few months?

3: I've noticed that while most places charge and average of $11,000 for a Delica, some advertise as low as 7,900 for the same model/year/kms. Whats the deal?

Thanks for your time! Look forward to your reply's and being a member of this sight.

-Joel

You are in luck as the 'Show and Tell' happens at CC autos in Coombs this weekend and next weekend, details are on the posting about it. That way you can see a whack of deli's and meet their owners, and get top notch info. Be there. Cheers, Christine of the Burnaby TardisDeli.

You don't need to go to the continent to get a Delica - there are plenty of dealers and private sales right here on the Big Island. Agree with the other poster: come to the show-and-tells this weekend and next.

Keep scouring this forum, there are plenty of good-luck stories concerning dealers/mechanics on the Island.

Happy hunting!
