Does anyone know of insurance companies that are " Delica Friendly" in Alberta.
Seems like my insurance company is gun shy of RHD's.

Hey- just playing ER and reviving a dead thread. I am starting to look around for insurance and spotted this thread, as well as many other hours of reading. Any current insurance companies, agents to talk to, and what rates do you get? Collision/ comprehensive or just PL/PD? I have found Johnsons and my current carrier will only do PL/PD and they want about $100 a month. If you did get comprehensive did you do the appraisal thing? Where did you get it done? I am thinking of finding a company and offering to switch my house and 2 other vehicles over if they give me the best rate. Thanks
Craig

I found the Cooperators to be the easiest to deal with... no appraisal, just gave them the value of the vehicle.
Their Canmore agent is knowledgable about it. He set me up with the quote and stuff, then transferred me on to the okotoks office. This was about 2 months ago.

Thanks Foxy. I assume you called Michael in Canmore. I found his info in another thread. Did you get comprehensive or just PL/PD? What do they want monthly?

I am just in the process of setting up insurance with Michael with Cooperators Canmore too. He's been great to deal with.
Getting full comprehensive/collision/pl/pd
The company I had been using would only offer pl/pd
I will get full coverage for ~$100/month

Awesome Naterade! This is an answer I was hoping for. $100 for Pl/PD seems a little much - so I might as well go for full. Any other companies and rates you all want to share would be greatly appreciated. My new ride won't be in for a couple weeks but I want to have everything lined up.

I just went TD Auto, Pl/Pd only available $40/month. May think about changing that up for full coverage later with all the homework from everyone on the site, thanks!!

I am getting around $100 a month for full coverage as well. That's with me having 3 tickets, and my wife having 2. No accidents though.

My info above still works, I'm still with them. Full coverage, but don't know the price, I think it is about 70-90 per month.
