I just had 2 Delica shipped in from Japan and Daniel Jensen did the paperwork and helped with some mechanical requirements (lights). He has connections in Japan and can help locate what you want. If it's your first time importing his services are very helpful.

Hi All. I Have two containers coming in acouple weeks. They are kei trucks, 2 pajeros. Still looking for a 4 grade Delica for myself. If anyone has any requests I can look at putting together another container load. I have access to the auctions here and great contacts in the industry. My wife is Japanese and we come here every year. I am a registered dealer in Alberta but this is my first time bringing in JDM vehicles. I have been going to the auctions every week (4 per week) and have learned alot. For one, there are many exporters here who never attend an auction and see the cars themselves personally-because first it is lots of work-they are trying to secure large numbers of vehicles and to do so have to bid on many vehicles in a given day from many auctions-they rely on the auction inspection sheet and picture, which I have seen personally is very deceiving-in the pics you can not see the smoking engine, the water in the oil, the oil in rad, slipping clutch etc. Also I have seen many vehicles which looked great on paper and pic but had rust bubbles the size of my hand which were not on inspection form as wasn't rusted thru-I have been here for 1 month and attended 3-4 auctions per week and have seen alot of vehicles-hard to find the mint vehicle for cheap price but have managed to do so-I have made friends with a Japanese exporter who attends every auction and inspects every vehicle before auction-when I am in Canada he phones me while at the vehicle and emails me pics while he is standing at the vehicle before auction starts-we analyze past sales market data for same type vehicle and can recommend max bid-If anyone has parts requests or looking for a certain vehicle let me know soon and I can add parts to my containers or look at shipping another.

Dear Azada and Steamhead:
Please be careful when dealing with individuals who are not licensed customs brokers or freight forwarders with an office in Canada. We have had many customers come to us after being "burned" and their cars need to be returned to Japan.
If in doubt, consult!
Sincerely,
Perry
