Hey guys
My apologies if this isn't the right place but I couldn't find a better fit
My wife and I are driving around the world in our l400 and are currently un North America. We've done from Vancouver to Calgary, now are in the US and will soon come back to Canada via Niagra.
Anyway, we need to adjust the injection timing but can't find any shops willing to help us! They always say they are not familiar with the car and blah blah blah
Can you guys tell me who in Canada would do that for me? I know it's a timing issue, I don't need anything else looked at.
Your help will be highly appreciated!
Best regards
alex

Hi
you may be lucky with a Diesel injection expert rather than a Mitsubishi shop, if you want to look along your route.

I thought the same but all experts I talked to said they are not familiar with the car
Rather frustrating... Not sure how you guys deal with it in Canada.

If you can make it back to Western Canada, I highly recommend CVI in RIchmond/Vancouver. There are also several JDM shops in Calgary, but can't recommend one there. I follow you guys on Facebook, BTW. Nice work!

Thank you guys.
You need to find a shop that works on Injector Pumps, not your every day garage. As far as Injector Pumps go, these, The Robert Bosch
VE-Type Distributor Pumps, are the most ubiquitous IPs on the face of the Earth. They are the benchmark for smaller diesels. You can find the manual for it in the Technical Reference Libraries, in Delica Canada Technical. The Delica IPs are manufactured by Zexel.
