1990 Delica Exceed Turbo Diesel Crystal Roof, PS, PB, PW, AT, 97,000 KM. All 100,000KM maintenance done, next maintenance 200,000KM. New timing belt, water pump. Oil changed with new filter. New trabby fluid and differential fluid. Radiator de-calcified and cored. New headlights with daytime running lights, new tires on alloy rims. Passed all inspections including aircare and fully complianced. Auction Grade 4/B (about the highest for Japanese auction grades on used Delicas). 4/B means: Straight body, zero dents or scratches, No Rust, & Interior relatively clean, no cigarette burns, tears or holes in seats, only a couple of small carpet stains. Runs and drives very nicely. (Note this is a private sale and taxes will be about half that of a dealer sale)

There's a big difference between the "light bulb" that you get for $11 at Canadian Tire, and the headlight pod assembly that must be E-coded (as there are no DOT compliant pods) in order to pass compliance inspection.

I think all this jabber is not conducive to the poor guy selling the Delic...
besides he never said e-code lights in the first place

PolyTek, i think the reason that dbaba brought up the headlight comment was that a '90 Delica has the square headlight bulbs dont they? which can be sourced at can tire and are not ecode moulded ones. Anyhow... like i said before... in the end all this jabber doesnt help sell his van, so can we be considerate and let his post do its job?
(i dont mean to offend... just trying to clarify before it all gets out of hand).
The only thing that i question is the grading of 4B and yet having a few carpet stains... that doesnt make sense to me. Have you got the auction sheets?
Josh
