Hi all

My name is Alex and from April this year my wife and I will be driving around the world aboard our 1996 TD Delica.

Our plan is to leave Perth, Western Australia, on April 15th and head East crossing Australia first, then shipping it to Canada and doing the whole of the Americas before going to Europe and continuing on.

We've had Vanda, as we call our beloved L400, for four years now and simply love her. We can't wait to start our adventure soon.

I've always been an active member of the Delica Club Australia and used your forum many times to find some valuable information. So I thought it was about time to come and say hello.

if you taking the #1 Highway across Canada then Calgary will be on your route. With enough notice we should be able to muster more than a handful of Delicas to greet you and the Mrs.

Hi Big-Bird

Calgary will be on our route indeed! And we intend to spend some time traveling through that region!

It would be absolutely lovely to catch up with some of you guys!

We look forward to that. Will definitely keep you posted!

You have to stop in Québec City :o

If you sleep in your van (or in a small tent) you can come home, I am about 20minutes from downtown. You can easily spent a few days around here 8-)

Then you will have to decide if you keep going East on the North or South shore

There is only one L400 that I know in the province :-( but he stays not far from me and he is a daytime Mechanic so he may be of help if you have problems.
