Series 2 and OBD / JOBD

Has anyone had a scan tool working with their Delica? Online research suggests that the protocol isn't quite standard OBD2, but Japanese JOBD. Rumour is that the protocol is ISO 9141-2 at a different speed than standard.
I'm quite sure that MMC / Evoscan will work (MUT-2 compatible), but I'd like to use a bluetooth adapter for an Android display for extra gauges.

Thanks, for the links. Not quite what I was looking for as that is using the "old school" flashing light fallback.
It might take me a while, but I'll see if I can figure out exactly how the Mitsu JOBD works and post back here when I get some success.

My own research into this has found while the OBD JOBD plugs are the same the wire config isn't so of course no standard OBD scanner will work.
The MUT will but there isn't much info available in hooking up a BlueTooth system or even finding an aftermarket MUT scanner that isn't several hundreds or more to buy. There are some pricey MUT laptop programs/cable kits available and I have a Pajero friend who has it......uses it on his Lancer/Evo and he has fiddled with it o. His Pajeros over the years
I got access to a snap-on scanner (cousin is a dealer) and he says he has a few ideas he wants to try but we haven't connected on this topic yet.

Thanks, I just purchased EvoScan and cable which is MUT2 compatible. I'm fairly confident it will connect, but I'd much rather have the Android Torque app be able to connect and display values on my dash.
From browsing the Russian and other sites it looks like we have an "almost compatible" OBD2 setup on the S2 L400. It should be ISO 9141-2 at 15625 bps which is not compatible with any ELM style reader. I'll keep hacking away on this and see what I can figure out.

I can report that Evo Scan does work on the L400. A friend of mine has the program and we just did a diagnosis and code clear(after the repair) of my non-functional ABS system.
I had to disconnect the battery and then clear the fault codes in order for them to stay cleared.....when we only cleared the codes the ABS brain thought there was still a problem.
had to change one ABS wheel Sensor and 2 transfer case detector switches. Now I have a fully functional ABS again.
There are no engine monitoring signals on the Gen I L400 MUT system as it only has Tranny and ABS computers on board.....no engine CPU. Don't know about the GEN II Delica....

Kurtis: you met Phil at my tech night. He wants to do another so it would be a good test on the GEN 2.
He and I have done some other research on the mitsu trucks/vans of late so have been building a good bank on knowledge.
