Window not working

My passenger side window stuck down the other day. I was driving a washerboard dirt road and suspect a wire may have come loose. Anybody ever had the middle console that houses the window switches? Any hints?
Cheers

I'm guessing you suspect a loose wire because you're not hearing any motor noise from the door? Just to check, when you try to wind the window up, do you hear any noise from the door (clunking like a motor trying to turn), or do the headlamps dim a bit? Does it make any noise if you try and lower the window further?
The window switch is easy to remove- grip inside the coin tray that's beside the switches, and yank upwards. The switch/coin tray panel is only held in by a few plastic lugs. If it's a bit difficult, you might be able to slip a thin blade into the seam and pry upwards.

Thanks for the replies. Seems as though it was in the switch area. It was super easy to remove the console that houses the switch Growlerbearnz, thanks. I don't know what I did but it work now and now I know how ieasy it is to get there.

Are you sure it's the switch and not the window having popped out out of the guide? If I'm off base then my apologies but I had a similar experience and the window was jammed on the outside of the guide.
Falco.

When I got my van the window switches were a bit sticky- someone had spilled soda into them. I had to disassemble and clean them, but they've been fine ever since.
