New member from Calgary

Hello all, my wife and I bought a 92 L300 from a gent here in the city this spring. It was mostly in Golden BC for the last six years. I am now seeing quite a few Delica's in the city or hadn't notice before owning one. So far a set a front shocks and a muffler has been replaced. We have been on a couple small tours into BC and put on a couple thousand kms this year. We met a couple that had a German import 2-wheel drive in Penticton last month. It sat lower, had different head lights and was the camper style. They had so far crossed most of Canada and were ending their trip in Argentina!!! Wow!! They are taking a year off normal life to do this. Made us start thinking about our life and downsizing. Maybe someday we will take a year sabbatical to tour the Americas too! Cheers!
