Ok was wondering what people thought about how there l300 delica handled after a 2 or 3" suspension lift with larger tires. Does it make it less or more stable than stock? Performance wise is it alot slower with the bigger tires?.

Thanks

Joe

Rear seats removed, ball joint spacers on the front, 31" tyres here:

It still handles like a bouncy castle. Being higher makes the body roll feel more alarming, but I haven't managed to roll it yet so I guess tip over limits aren't that different. Traction seems to be unaffected, though the LSD might be contributing to that. The limited slip differential might also be helping.

Acceleration was dramatically diminished by the 31" tyres. Engine modifications (more boost, more fuel, new head) have corrected that.

I'd definitely do it again- the handling isn't why I have a Delica.
