Nelson Delica Owners

Hi Everyone,

Been a while since I've been on here. Hope all is well.

I moved from Calgary to Nelson in October, and I have seen a great many Delicas here! Is this area Delica breeding grounds or something?

Just curious if there are any Nelson/West Kootenay Delica owners on this forum.

Also curious who works on Delicas out here, are there any local mechanics who work on them, or are there any enthusiasts in Nelson who like tinkering?

:M :-D :M

Nice to see you again, Nate. Check with Jordan, I believe he is in Nelson.

Hi Naterade,
I'm in Nelson, I have had some work done at downtown auto, midas and OK tire. If I need anything substantial I drive to vancouver or get parts mailed. Lots of delicas here but not a lot of delica.ca forum members, might have more luck in a Nelson soccer mom forum.

Why don't you guys have a mini meet?

Post it in "Other BC". Who knows, you might start a movement in Nelson. I could just see the headlines in the papers "New Movement In Nelson". Maybe make up a banner that shows the Mitsumaple, you know... like " :M Delica.Ca". Then other Delica drivers that don't even know about DC, who see it down at the local Timmy Ho's car park might stop by, realise the value of it and join up. The next thing you know the headlines start to look like "Nelson Movement Turns Into Cult". Then you get members of the RCMP and CSIS joining to make sure you're not performing child sacrifices but that's okay ~ 'cause then they really get to dig the Delica and the next thing you see in the headlines is "Nelson Cult Becomes Institution". Upon reflection ~ cool idea for a bumper sticker: "Dig The Delica". I like it. Maybe we could incorporate it with the Mitsu-flag idea.

See what happens when you just have a little get-together in a car park? Way cool.

Falco.

Hey Naterade,

I'm in the Nelson area. Afraid I can't recommend a mechanic right now, as I'm currently looking for a new one myself. I did recently start up a Facebook page for Kootenay Delica owners to connect - https://www.facebook.com/groups/1477049985920117/

Always happy to help out or set up a meet!
Best,

Colin
