Totally stumped electrical

Ok I have made a switch panel for the lights etc.... I have one common terminal for both the positive and negative. The radio is also attached to the positive terminal directly (no switch and separate ground)

So with every switch wired the same how come one (only) of them will cut power to the radio regardless of whether I am turning the switch on or off? the radio will come on again, but it's like the power is quickly shut off?

Got photos?

The simplest avenue could be a bad switch (did you swap switches around?)

Not enough info to know either way but photos might help.

Put a multimeter in there and test the circuit in question for weird voltage/amperage changes.

I noticed a few switches have 3 contacts. 2 red and one black wire. Is it one of these that causes the radio power to cut out?

What are these wired up to? Some kind of auxilliary setup? This might open the circuit long enough to interupt your radio.

Found the trouble. The switch was shorting out when it was thrown didn't matter whether it was turning on or off..
