New to the board, but I've been a long timer lurker.

Hi, my name is Jason and I've a 88 L300 with the G64B engine(sadly no diesel). I'm out of Bellingham WA, and have had the van since 2007. I've driven across the country a couple times, been to Burning Man with it and up and down the west coast and in to Canada a whole lot. I've really enjoyed my l300. I'll put up some pics in a bit.
I've lurked on the forum for years, soaking up information and trouble shooting all the little things that have popped up along the years. I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone that has contributed to the knowledge base of this fine site, without it I'd have let the old van go years ago.

Cheers,
Jason

Welcome to Delica Canada, Jason :M

Nice looking wagon, you keep her well... smiles. Come to a meet sometime and show her off in person... or in wagon... :?.

Falco.

Thanks Falco. I'll do my best to get up to a meet. My van is currently down and out until I get the engine rebuilt, should be done in the next month(fingers crossed).

Thank you. Sadly, it's not a nice as the picture leads one to believe. This is the good side :-). It's got some rust, a few scrapes and a couple small dents. The picture was from a couple years ago, while I was on the coast of North Carolina. I have tried to keep it looking nice, but the years take their toll.

Sad but true. I wanted to make mine a showpiece, but when you actually use the damned things, especially off road and in the desert, they get scratched and dinged up. The good news is I didn't have to pay $40,000 for it.

I've only waxed her twice since becoming the owner. It did make the van look nice, but it's a lot of work. I do regularly wash it, when it's on the road. Right now it's acting as a shelf and storage in my garage until I get the engine rebuilt and installed. Once the engine is back in and running, I'll devote some time to cleaning her up and replacing a number of the old dried out gaskets around the windows.
